Please note we are located in Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire and any family wishing to rehome from ourselves must be willing to travel to undertake a rehoming interview with ourselves before a decision is made on a dog and suitability. This will also be followed up with a visit to your home.

Bailey is a 14 month old mini Pin x Chihuahua, this beautiful is still with us in foster with Dawn Johnson and looking for a home.

Bailey did have visitors before Christmas and was reserved but sadly after meeting him and going home to give it some serious consideration they did not feel he was right for their home.  Before coming into our care at the age of just 11 months old Bailey had been passed around 5 sets of owners. It is absolutely imperative therefore that his next move is his LAST move! Therefore ideally we are looking for a home local to us in Stoke on Trent so new owners can have multiple meets with Bailey and he is able to also have multiple visits to any new home.

Bailey ADORES other dogs and any new home must have dogs already in residence. Ideally multiple dogs and some with a playful nature. Having been passed around so much at first Bailey can be standoffish with new people and will often have a bark. If ignored though he soon warms up and can not help coming and saying hello! On first meeting Bailey you will see he is very bonded to his foster Mum but this isn't surprising after all the change he has been through. This seems to be putting people off with the *oh but he seems so happy with you!* He IS happy with Dawn but he IS also just a foster and we need him to move to a home that he can be equally happy with with time and patience.

Baileys ideal home would be with someone at home a lot of the time. When he first landed at Dawns he had quite bad seperation anxiety. However, Dawn has worked hard with this and now he is absolutely fine to be left with the company of other dogs for quite a few hours. We need a home that will listen and work with us to ensure that Bailey is bonded up with the other dogs as opposed to creating a co dependency with just the human owners. Given this opportunity he is a happy laid back boy when he has to spend time with just their company.

Bailey has now adapted to his foster Mums visiting Grandchildren, however he is still rather suspicious with them and really would not like a home with young children around all of the time. He would much prefer an adult only home or sensible dog savy children 12 years and upwards. Out and about Bailey is fabulous and now he is bonded with his foster Mum and her pack he has wonderful recall and can be trusted off lead to play with other dogs he meets and come back immediately when called.  Bailey is a all round amazing little dog and his foster Mum really can not fault him! He deserves finally someone who sees past looking at a cute little black and tan and thinking ohhhh hes cute. He needs a dedicated owner willing to give him a good all round life.

Bailey is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, castrated and in good health.  Bailey will only be considered being rehomed in areas close to Stoke on Trent or surrounding ie Derbyshire, Cheshire, Shropshire etc.  If you are interested in offering Bailey that perfect home please do complete the pre adoption questionnaire below in the first instance
