Want a nice calm male Greyhound? Then Champ possibly isn't the dog for you!!!  We absolutely adore this boy but what a clown!

Champ came to us after suffering a broken hock and is 4 years old next month. The hock has repaired and is sound but has left him with a slight bend to the leg not that you would know it he is more than sound on it and walks absolutely fine. Champ is a busy lad who loves to look for mischief but also enjoys calm time in his bed and is now well versed in enrichment in our home from home room and loves feeding toys. These also help to wear him out and he then is sated and off for a snooze. Champ is a big strong lad who would love an experienced Greyhound home. He could happily be an only dog or live alongside other Greyhounds ideally a female for a companion or with another male if there was also a female in the home to steady the balance.

Champ travels like a dream, works hard to keep his kennel clean and loves to snuggle up and gives the best kisses! He is however not small furry or cat safe and needs someone willing to walk him on lead with a muzzle whilst he starts to safely socialise around other breeds of dogs as this is something he is not yet use too! Champ can live with dog savy children 8 years and upwards. Smaller or younger children he may have a little bit too much of a love for life for!

We would ideally like to rehome Champ to a family that understand should any future problems arise with Champs hock they would commit to bringing him back to our specialist orthopedic vets here in Nantwich Cheshire. The costs of any treatment to rectify anything should it be necessary will be covered in full by ourselves.

Champ is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, neutered and has received a dental. If you are interested in offering this amazing boy a home in the first instance please complete the pre adoption questionnaire below. Champ is currently located in Stoke on Trent and it will be absolutely necessary for any potential family to be willing to travel to meet him with any current dog.
