Sadly after 3 years in their home together Jess (rough coat) and Benji (smooth) have been returned to our care. The owners faced a change in circumstances that meant they could no longer meet their needs. Thankfully both are very familiar with us here at the Kennels and are settling back in well. They would desperately love to find a lurcher experienced home without other animals together.

Jess is a typically vocal collie/saluki/greyhound girl who can be a little over zealous and boisterous at times but is the most loving sensitive girl ever and Benji is in the main calm but when he has his slightly bonkers moments boy do you know it and he really is quite the saluki singer.

Around the home though after good walks they are settled and relaxed. Beautiful Benji does have colour diluted alopecia so is virtually completely bald. Although this does not affect his health in any way he does have to have sun lotion applied on hot days and be watched he does not over heat and needs pajamas and a coat when its colder.

We are so sad to see them back with us and they have been model citizens since landing back into our care. They really are the most wonderful dogs.

Left with each other for company when settled they are fine for 2 or 3 hours. Both are housetrained and both travel well.

They are not cat or small furry friendly sadly.

The dogs have had access to their families young children and were fine albeit Jess can be a little excitable so a home with dog savvy children 8 plus would be best.

Both dogs are neutered, kc vaccinated, vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and in good health.

They are currently located in Stoke on Trent but can be rehomed nationwide for the right home.

Anyone wishing to offer them a home must be willing to travel to meet them with all members of the immediate family. If you think you could offer Jess and Benji the home they need please do in the first instance complete the pre adoption questionnaire below
