Please note due to Covid 19 restrictions we are currently only rehoming dogs in and around Staffordshire. There are some instances where we can make exceptions for those further afield namely those who have already been assessed and adopted from us and in some instances if possible those with previous Greyhound experience.

Raven or Rave on as she is now known in this place! This beautiful 3 year old Greyhound girl is now ready to find a new home and she is an absolute joy and one of the firm favourites here at Greyhound Gap.

Raven landed with us quite a gentle girl however she is bursting with life now. She came into our care with a fractured wrist. We took her to Nantwich Veterinary hospital and she was fixed up by Alan Mayo. After taking our time bringing her back to fitness you would never know she had had an injury now. Please note.... We will be looking for a home for Raven that understands as a rescue we take our duty of care to our dogs extremely seriously and any further surgery or care relating to that leg will be covered by ourselves for life. That means that any home must be willing to travel back to us to have her seen at Nantwich by her own surgeon.

Raven is such a cheeky little Madam and we feel she will be able to learn to be an only dog with someone around all the time in the main in the beginning to help us settle her in. Equally she would love the company of a Greyhound male as she adores her own kind. Raven is good out and about on walks but she does need careful socialisation around other breeds and does have a prey drive. She is not cat or small furry safe. Raven travels like a dream and will be fine to live with dog savy children 6 years and upwards. Although Raven is with us in kennels she does work hard to keep her kennel clean.

Raven is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, spayed and has received a dental. She will also be rehomed with 1 months free insurance from Petplan. For more information or to be considered to offer the amazing Raven a new home please in the first instance complete the pre adoption questionnaire below:
