Tank is a beautiful 3 year old English Bull Terrier x Greyhound boy who is now ready to find his new home.
This lad is typically bully x in nature and is a little happy livewire who is a joy to be around but can naturally be quite strong willed at times. Tank would love a calm female lurcher companion to live alongside or could learn to be an only dog with someone around all or most of the time. We feel its imperative for any new owners to have either experience of larger more energetic lurchers or English Bull terriers.
Tank in the main walks well out and about he does like to have a pull at the end of the lead but is extremely receptive and highly trainable. He just wants to please you. He has spent lots of time out and about with one of our staff members Olivia her family and their own dogs and has been an absolute superstar with all of them and all other dogs he has met whilst out and about. He will have the occasional bark at other dogs but this is more in excitement and frustration as he wants to go and say hello. However he still needs work on his manners. We feel he would really benefit from a home willing to take him to basic training classes to help him focus more on his new owner as opposed to everything else going on around him.
Tank can not be rehomed with cats or small furries and due to his busy nature we feel dog savy children 10 years and upwards would be best as he can occasionally be the proverbial bull in a China shop.
We all adore this lad here at kennels, he is always happy, always looking for something to do and always a willing playmate or walking buddy to anyone including strangers. He just loves people. Tank really is a smart little dog both in looks and nature! Tank is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, castrated and has received a dental.
