Please be aware that Greyhound Gap are based in Staffordshire and in normal circumstances do home throughout the UK.   However, due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, there may be some instances where it will not be possible to arrange suitable home visits.  We will, of course, try to be as flexible possible but there may be some areas we just cannot currently cover. All potential adopters will be expected to travel to our kennels to undertake our interview process in order to enable us to go through our adoption matching process.

Tank is a beautiful 3 year old English Bull Terrier x Greyhound boy who is now ready to find his new home.

This lad is typically bully in nature and is a little happy livewire who is a joy to be around but can naturally be quite strong willed at times. Tank has spent days out with one of our kennel staffs family and their 3 female lurchers and got on well with them. He is extremely respectful to them all the time so we do feel he could live with a female well balanced Lurcher. If Tank were to be rehomed as an only dog it most definitely would have to be with a busy family with someone around all or most of the time. We feel that without work he could be a prime candidate for separation anxiety if left totally alone.

Tank in the main walks well out and about on lead. He does occasionally like to have a pull at the end of the lead but is extremely receptive and highly trainable. He just wants to please you. He will have the occasional bark at other dogs but this is more in excitement and frustration as he wants to go and say hello. However he still needs work on his manners. We feel he would really benefit from a home willing to take him to basic training classes to help him focus more on his new owner as opposed to everything else going on around him. Tank can not be rehomed with cats or small furies and due to his busy nature we feel dog savvy children 10 years and upwards would be best as he can occasionally be the proverbial bull in a China shop. We all adore this lad here at kennels, he is always happy, always looking for something to do and always a willing playmate or walking buddy to anyone including strangers. He just loves people. Tank really is a smart little dog both in looks and nature!

Tank is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, castrated and has received a dental. Tank is currently in Stoke on Trent but can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful homevisit being carried out and all members of the immediate family including any resident dogs being willing to travel to meet him.
